"I believe that we are on the brink of one of the greatest reformations that the Body of Christ has experienced. I know that myself and our entire team are in an intense time of desperation for something new. I believe God wants to create new wineskins throughout the Church. If this is going to happen, we have to be willing to do something different and new. Even if that means going against the status-quo. For the past few months, we all at Awake, have been in a place of frustration. God spoke to me and said that frustration was merely a hunger for something different and that He put that frustration within us to tell us that it was time for change. I don't think we are the only ones feeling this frustration. This gathering is for those that have a desire for a renaissance in the Church's creativity and a reformation in the everyday life of Jesus followers. God is calling for the forerunners and those that are willing to make the leap into uncharted waters. I believe the North Carolina region will be a place of renaissance and reformation and this is what we are calling forth. Everything is changing... it's about time." - Craig Kinsley On February 20, we will be holding our first monthly gathering for 2009. We believe in the region that God has placed us in and we believe that this is an important year for our community. God is going to be challenging us to change the way we think and to see His glory released in new and exciting ways. These gatherings are for our region to come together and pull on Heaven for something new. *We would also like to invite any artist that would like to express worship through their creative gifting to contact us so that we can help you set up what you need.
Meeting Address:
- Drive 25 miles and take exit for Hwy 268, Exit 286 B.
Josh Baldwin has been involved in leading worship for about nine years. He has recorded songs and played drums on a handful of worship projects and currently travels with Rita Springer and Suzy Wills Yaraei. He is also the worship minister at MorningStar Fellowship Church in Wilkesboro, NC. His desire is to touch the Father's heart and help release others in worship and the arts. Josh currently lives in Moravian Falls, NC. Craig can best be described as a reformer. His desire and passion to demonstrate and proclaim the reality of who Jesus really is, comes through in every word he speaks. You will not find the "norm" with Craig, but rather somone who is constantly at war with the norm. In his own words, "My calling is to free the world from the enslavement of religious lies and to raise up others to do the same." That seems to sum it up. As should be normal for a Jesus follower, signs and wonders seem to follow him wherever he goes. |
